From July 15th to 22nd, 2024, the Liaoning Province Physical Education Teacher Teaching Skills Competition was held at Shenyang Normal University. Zhang Jianshe, a teacher from the Physical Education Department of our university, won the second prize in the lecture presentation and non student teaching competition, and the third prize in the skill test and overall score. Wang Nan and Chen Shouwei were awarded as excellent guidance teachers.
This competition is organized by the Education Department of Liaoning Province and hosted by Shenyang Normal University, with 176 teachers from 81 universities in the province participating. According to the competition regulations, the competition is divided into three parts: lecture presentation, non student teaching, and skill testing. The participants' teaching design ability, teaching practice ability, and specialized technical level are comprehensively evaluated.
The Ministry of Sports attaches great importance to this competition. After registration and careful selection, the competition team consisting of team leader Zhang Ruiying, team members Zhang Bo and Zhang Jianshe, and supervising teachers Wang Nan and Chen Shouwei was finally determined. After two months of training and thorough preparation, our school's teachers have demonstrated solid teaching skills, good professional ethics, stable psychological resilience, and a tenacious and competitive spirit in the competition.
The Ministry of Sports has always attached great importance to the quality of its courses. Every year, it holds a large-scale competition among its teachers and has participated in several skill competitions for university teachers in Shenyang, achieving excellent results. Two courses have been selected as first-class undergraduate courses in Liaoning Province. The achievement of this competition is the result of the Sports Department's long-term commitment to high-quality curriculum construction, and also points out the direction for future work, laying a good foundation for the comprehensive improvement of the quality of physical education teaching in our school and achieving new results.
