Recently, the School of Foreign Languages at our university organized students to participate in the "Foreign Teacher Society · Word Master Cup" National College English Vocabulary Ability Competition Liaoning Division, and won 1 first prize, 1 second prize, and 8 third prizes with excellent results.

The 4th "Foreign Teacher Society · Word Master Cup" National College English Vocabulary Ability Competition Liaoning Division is jointly organized by the China Foreign Language Strategy Research Center, China Foreign Language Textbook and Teaching Method Research Center, and Shanghai Foreign Language Education Press, and hosted by Shenyang University. Our school actively organizes registration and examination work. More than 1000 students have undergone strict screening in the school level preliminary and final rounds, and finally 75 people have been selected for the provincial competition, competing with athletes from various universities in the province on the same stage. After intense competition, our school's athletes performed outstandingly and achieved excellent results.

This competition is based on the "Word Master" English vocabulary intelligent learning platform of the foreign teacher society. The scope of the test questions includes college English CET-4 and CET-6 vocabulary and ideological and political vocabulary, comprehensively testing students' mastery of vocabulary pronunciation, spelling, meaning, and collocation. The grade is evaluated based on the students' answer scores and answer time.

This competition has fully stimulated the interest of students in learning English, created a strong learning atmosphere of "learning at all times and practicing everywhere", opened up new ideas for our university's English teaching work, and provided a broader platform for our students' English learning.
