According to the series of activities organized by the Liaoning Provincial Federation of Trade Unions under the theme of "Learning Ideas, Being Pioneers, and Building New Achievements", and in accordance with the relevant requirements of the "Liaoning Province Model Worker Innovation Studio and Employee Innovation Studio Naming Management Measures (Revised)", after a series of strict procedures such as selection and recommendation, material review, and expert evaluation, the Liaoning Provincial Federation of Trade Unions recently announced the "Notice on Relevant Matters of Liaoning Province Model Worker Innovation Studio and Employee Innovation Studio in 2024". Professor Liu Lihua's Model Worker Innovation Studio at our university was successfully approved as Liaoning Province Model Worker Innovation Studio and received a funding subsidy of 100000 yuan; Professor An Changwei's Employee Innovation Studio has been approved as a Liaoning Province Employee Innovation Studio and has received a funding subsidy of 200000 yuan.
Liu Lihua Model Worker Innovation Studio was established in May 2019. In the past five years since its establishment, the studio team has continuously explored and solved the fundamental and common technical problems of IoT automatic control, continuously promoted the integration of scientific research, teaching, and production, and built a new engineering talent training system of "basic training+method cultivation+ability improvement+expansion level+practical application". Taking "serving digital Liaoning" as the scenario, the course knowledge is integrated with digital Liaoning rural revitalization cases, and the course practice is synchronized with promoting rural revitalization projects. A talent training "education science industry" consortium of "studio+industry college" has been established, realizing cross disciplinary, cross disciplinary teaching practice. The studio team has won first, second, and third prizes in national first-class courses and teaching achievements.
Since its establishment, An Changwei Employee Innovation Studio has adapted to the requirements of improving the quality and efficiency of the environmental protection industry, deepened the comprehensive reform of education, promoted the deepening and implementation of industry, academia, research and application, relied on the doctoral team, adhered to the fundamental task of "putting students first, cultivating virtue and educating people", and set "morality as the first, knowledgeable as the list, and practitioners as the top" as the educational goal. Through the year-round "moral cultivation" education project, it has achieved fruitful results in education, teaching, scientific research, and technical services. In the past two years, in the field of scientific and technological research, the studio has authorized 8 invention patents and provided 20 technical services to external parties, with a research funding of nearly 6 million yuan. It has solved many production problems for industry enterprises and received unanimous praise from service enterprises.
This achievement marks a new breakthrough and development in the field of innovation work at our university. It is a high recognition of the work of Professor Liu Lihua, Professor An Changwei, and their team, and also inspires all faculty and staff to actively engage in innovation work and make greater contributions to promoting the high-quality development of the university.
