On November 15th, a group of teachers and students majoring in primary education from the School of Humanities and Arts at Liaoning University of Science and Technology participated in the final of the 2024 Liaoning Province Undergraduate Teaching Skills Competition for Primary Education Majors in Ordinary Higher Education Institutions. Liaoning University of Science and Technology students performed outstandingly, with a total of 4 students winning the provincial first prize, 8 students winning the provincial second prize, and 13 students winning the provincial third prize.
This competition is hosted by the Education Department of Liaoning Province and organized by Dalian University, aiming to enhance the teaching skills and practical abilities of students majoring in primary education. Excellent students majoring in primary education from Liaoning Normal University, Shenyang Normal University, Bohai University, Shenyang University, Dalian University, Anshan Normal University, Liaodong University, and Liaoning University of Science and Technology gathered together to compete. After fierce competition, the representative team of Liaoning University of Science and Technology stood out. Among them, 4 students won the provincial first prize, 8 students won the provincial second prize, 13 students won the provincial third prize, and 5 students won the excellent award. These honors are not only a recognition of the hard work of the students, but also a powerful proof of the teaching quality of the primary education major at Liaoning University of Science and Technology. In addition, Liaoning University of Science and Technology was also awarded the honorary title of excellent organizational unit in this competition. Three teachers were awarded the title of Excellent Guidance Teacher in the province, and one teacher was awarded the title of Excellent Organizational Individual.
